Historic Viking Huts

Type one the largest of the houses found also one of the more common designs. interior also built for cinematic shot.

Type 2 was the second most common found, was smaller and more round than the other variants.

Type 3 had a long thin design. also seen here is a different door design made from woven branches. suspected to be the home of the less wealthy.

Type 4. This design is often mostly buried into the ground. with the door protruding outwards.

Type 5 the final design. the smallest of the other designs, little evidence found of it having a door so is therefore suspected to be for storage rather than a livable house.

Historic Viking Huts

Some Viking huts I built for Noho for a VR cinematic experience. Based of archaeology reports from fishamble street/wood quay in Ireland by Patrick Wallace. Built for the unity game engine.
